Recent pool clean up!

Well I'll be honest, even though I have been servicing pools for the past 15 years plus it's a little nerve racking to do it as a new business and locally in Palmdale CA for that matter. All that aside, all this one needed was a little TLC, and yes I overlooked something, but I think even a 60 year veteran guru might have missed.

This pool was neglected for a period of time, it happens, whether it be family drama, divorce, death, new job, just married, or vacation. Life happens, and sometimes we loose track of up keep, and yes I'm guilty of it too. (Not going to get into my roof issues here lol but if you are a roofer reading this, email me!)

This pool needed a little help, and to turn it back it would need some extra chlorine, several filter cleans, and a bit more water to fill the pool.

First visit I added chorine and shocked it as well as cleaned the filter. After it was cloudy and I figured the filter would help clear it out. Round two was the same, added extra chlorine, a bit of conditioner and cleaned the filter. By this time I thought we should be good and just about there as far as the pool was concerned, but it kept being cloudy after the algae was gone, there was something wrong.

It was either round 3 or 4 and I really looked at the cartridge filter. I realized there were holes in them, some obvious, and some were a bit hidden. If its one I would just contact the customer and say let's just do the one, but these were on the older side and all of them had issues, they would need a full set. So I replaced them and now the pool has been looking fantastic. (pictures below)
