General Pool Maintenance FAQ

  1. How often should I have my pool serviced?
Generally your pool should be serviced at least once a week. If you have a large amount of foliage, high bather load, (pups included) an Airbnb, or constantly run the heater twice a week or sometimes even 3 times a week service is required. All of these senecios are relatively rare.

  2. What does a standard pool service include?
Services included; skimming debris, brushing, vacuuming (when needed), checking and balancing chemicals, and inspecting equipment (see something say something).

  3. Do I need to be home during pool service?
No, we can complete service without you being home, as long as we have access to your pool area. We carry a lot of keys and it's sort of like a badge of honor. We also love dogs but if you would like to bring them in we can make arrangements to the best of our ability.

  4. How do I know if my pool water is properly balanced?
We use the Taylor test kit for most service calls and use the spin touch once a month to make sure all of the chemicals are balanced.

  5. Why is my pool water cloudy?
Cloudy water can be due to poor filtration, chemical imbalance, or high levels of contaminants. If your Pool is cloudy, and you have been having trouble trying to get it back in order, feel free to give us a call. We will be happy to come out and give you a quote.
